There are many stories about guns and shootings in the news.  It’s a polarizing hot topic.  For Black folk, they are either shown as victims or thugs when it comes time to discuss guns or shootings.  Their opinions aren’t usually solicited but there’s no lack of  nuance views on the subject in my community.

Believe it or not, we think about it, talk about it, study it, and even create art around it.  Because it’s an important  issue.
